The 2026 Formula 1 season is just around the corner, and that calls for a new Jack Daniel’s
whiskey. This time it’s more than just another release, it’s a celebration of two milestones: one for the McLaren F1 team and one for Jack Daniel’s.
The new
Jack Daniel’s McLaren Formula 1 whiskey brings those milestones together in the fourth release of their special collaboration. On one hand, it toasts McLaren’s 1,000th Grand Prix this month; on the other, it nods to the Tennessee distillery’s 160th anniversary.
A design inspired by the 1,000th Grand Prix
The bottle sports a bold new look inspired by McLaren’s campaign around their 1,000th Formula 1 race, making it a collectible for both whisky lovers and motorsport fans.
As with previous editions, the packaging features black and orange, though the pattern differs from earlier releases. You’ll also find the familiar details on the bottle: the Old No. 7 emblem, the McLaren logo, and key information about the whiskey itself.
A classic whiskey from Lynchburg
Inside the bottle is Jack Daniel’s classic Tennessee Whiskey, the timeless Old No. 7. It’s bottled at 86 proof, or 43% alcohol by volume (ABV). That was also the case for the 2025 edition, though not for the 2024 and 2023 releases.
Tasting notes for the Jack Daniel’s McLaren whiskey are as follows:
- Nose: Caramel with gentle hints of banana.
- Palate: Caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak.
- Finish: Creamy with lingering flavor.
For collectors and fans
The 2026 Limited Edition will be released in various sizes depending on the market. In the
United States, it will come in a 1-liter bottle, while international markets will get both a 1-liter and a 700-milliliter version.
Expect the bottle to appear quickly in cities hosting Formula 1 races, with other locations to follow. Pricing has not yet been announced, but it’s expected to be in line with previous releases.
