Whisky is personal. It’s simple: tastes vary. And yet, when you want to know how something tastes or what others think of it, you often turn to the internet. More often than not, you’ll discover that people share similar opinions.

On this page, we publish whisky reviews that look at multiple aspects of each bottle to form a well‑rounded judgment. What does the bottle look like? What does it cost, and is that price fair for what you get? How does it taste? How is it made? And what kind of whisky are we dealing with? Not everything about whisky is about taste, some details, such as which company produced it and in what casks it matured, are simply facts.

Our reviews cover all sorts of whiskies that we have personally tasted. We don’t favour any particular brand. That means anything goes: from Dutch whiskies to Scotch releases and even non‑alcoholic whiskies. The only bottles you probably won’t see here are the extremely rare and exclusive whiskies costing hundreds of euros, simply because we can’t afford them or haven’t been able to taste them (yet).
