SLYRS concludes exclusive whisky trilogy centred around patience.

SLYRS Distillery in the Bavarian Alps demonstrates what patience does to the character of whisky through its 18-year-old whisky series. The new edition in the 18 Year Old series concludes the patience triptych in the German Alps with a final single malt whisky.
The SLYRS 18 Year Old The Third whisky was distilled using a mild method. Thereafter, the spirit was placed in American white oak barrels to mature in the Oberland region. The result, after 18 years, is a dark amber-coloured whisky with warm accents.

What is the flavour profile of the SLYRS 18 Year Old The Third whisky?

The exclusive whisky is accompanied by extensive tasting notes provided by the German distillery. We have compiled these for you below:
  • Nose: Dried fruit, honey and caramel, with spicy layers of cardamom, nutmeg, orange peel and tonka bean. This bouquet is beautifully balanced with subtle oak notes.
  • Palate: Rich and smooth with notes of caramel and fudge, underpinned by toasted almond and a sweet hint of honey. Spicy vanilla adds depth to the taste.
  • Finish: Wide, oily and endlessly long, with fruity and nutmeg-like echoes.
The whisky is bottled at 43 percent alcohol by volume (ABV).
