Timothée Chalamet Wins a Golden Globe and Even Raps About Bourbon

Who’s one of Hollywood’s biggest talents right now? Timothée Chalamet. The actor won a Golden Globe last night for his role in the film. But did you know he’s also active as a musician—and recently rapped about bourbon?

Chalamet broke through in Hollywood with Call Me by Your Name, and a few years later proved in Wonka that he can carry a tune as well. We even wrote earlier about a small whisky nod in that film.

Anyone who follows Chalamet knows he was into rap during his school days. And it seems he hasn’t let that go. He recently dropped the track 4 Raws, in which the water of life gets a nice moment in the spotlight.

The chorus goes like this:

Look, here at Whisky Monkeys we can only applaud anyone who makes the switch from cognac to bourbon and then shares it with the world. And we especially appreciate the word “sippin’.” Nice one, Chalamet!

A glass of the gods’ nectar is meant to be savored, and sipping is exactly the way to do it.

Beyond that, the track doesn’t have much to do with whisky, but that certainly doesn’t spoil the fun of it.
