There are countless whisky makers and bottlers around the world crafting the most extraordinary drams. But only one can claim the top spot, and now we know who it is. In 2026, Brave New Spirits will be officially recognized as the world’s best independent bottler by the World Whiskies Awards.
On December 5, a range of awards were presented to distilleries and independent bottlers. For instance, the very best Scotch whiskies were revealed, and we now know who will hold the title of Independent Bottler of the Year for 2026.
Brave New Spirits made a big splash at the World Whiskies Awards 2026, taking home several major accolades.

A haul of gold and silver

Whiskies from Brave New Spirits picked up multiple honors. First came the news that two Cask Masters editions won bronze and silver medals respectively.
Then came the gold: the North British 13 Year Old won Best Single Cask Single Grain Whisky, and The Untamed Grace from WhiskyHeroes took home Best Highland Single Cask Single Malt.
These two whiskies didn’t just earn gold medals. Both bottles were also awarded ‘Best in Category.’ And the awards kept coming.

Bottler of the Year

As a bottler, Brave New Spirits was further honored with not one, but two Icons of Whisky awards. Its international sales team was named the best in the world, and the company itself was crowned ‘Independent Bottler of the Year.’
A spokesperson for Brave New Spirits shared what these awards mean to the team.
That our company, our sales team, and our whiskies are recognized in such a competitive field, alongside some of the most respected names in our industry, is a testament to the efforts of our colleagues and distribution partners across the globe.
In the coming period, more results from the World Whiskies Awards 2026 will be announced. For now, the finest whiskies, bottlers, and distilleries from Scotland have been unveiled.
