Glenfiddich, Ardbeg, and Jameson are joined by new names on the 2026 Best Whiskies list

Every year, hundreds of whiskies are judged, but only a select few truly stand out with the highest honor. The Double Gold winners of 2026 at the New York International Spirits Competition are among those standouts. The list features both major, established whisky brands and lesser-known distilleries, with bottles spanning a range of styles and price points. In this article, we neatly lay out every whisky that earned a Double Gold award, so you can immediately see which acclaimed bottles are worth discovering.

The 2026 Double Gold whisky lineup is remarkably diverse. Household names like Glenfiddich, Ardbeg, Glenmorangie, Lagavulin, Redbreast, and Jameson appear alongside American favorites such as Wild Turkey, Widow Jane, Four Roses, and Angel's Envy. The prices vary widely, too. Some award-winning whiskies come in under $40, while more exclusive bottles sit in the $101-and-up range. That makes the list a treasure trove of options—both approachable buys and special bottles for the collection.

With 49 decorated whiskies, the 2026 Double Gold selection shows just how much variety the whisky world has to offer. Bourbon, rye, Scotch, Irish whiskey, and other styles all make an appearance.
