The whisky brand is teaming up with Gaurav Gupta, an Indian couturier, on two limited-edition packages for its whiskies. Chivas Regal XV and Chivas Regal 12 Year Old are getting a festive-season makeover.

The Indian designer is known for collaborating with Beyoncé, Cardi B, and Lizzo, and for his sculptural aesthetic—something that comes through clearly in the packaging.

What are the limited-edition Chivas Regal whiskies?

The Chivas Regal XV x Gaurav Gupta Limited Edition features a presentation box and bottle in rich gold tones. The design blends indigenous Indian motifs with a contemporary edge. The Chivas emblem is framed by bold golden tigers, serpents, and other ornate details that lend a luxurious feel.

The Chivas Regal 12 Year Old x Gaurav Gupta Limited Edition also features tigers and serpents across the box and bottle. Here, however, the silver hue already associated with the bottle remains prominently in play.

For Gupta, the collaboration with Chivas Regal is special, something that energized his creativity. The characters on the packaging stand for something larger.

'I have visualised three unique characters in both limited edition designs… The Winged Panther represents freedom, The Serpent is a symbol of infinite possibility, and Illumination represents the light of wisdom. My aim was to capture the liquid’s dynamism and infuse my ‘future primitive’ aesthetic.'
