Royal Salute and Harris Reed have been collaborating for some time now, which previously resulted in a special design-led whisky. It’s now time for the second chapter of their partnership: the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II. This release doesn’t feature just one bottle, but two.
Whiskymaker Royal Salute and fashion designer Harris Reed have unveiled the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II. This mature blended whisky draws inspiration from classic royal dress traditions and forms part of the Royal Salute Fashion Collection.
Not one, but two bottles
This new whisky isn’t simply a fresh bottle design. Two distinct designs have been released, each interpreting regal crown motifs in its own way. Harris Reed, Global Fashion Collaborator for Royal Salute and fashion designer, says the extended partnership has once again sparked an inspiring evolution of his creativity.
'The second edition is bolder, more complex, and makes a genuine statement with innovation at its core.'
For this release, Royal Salute didn’t just overhaul the iconic bottle, the whisky itself has been reimagined as well. Sandy Hyslop, Master Blender at Royal Salute, explains that every element was carefully considered.
'Crafting this edition was a privilege. We tailored the blend with precision to reflect Harris’s unique style, layering creamy and spicy notes that harmonize beautifully with vibrant fruit tones. This whisky shows what’s possible when exceptional Scotch meets visionary design.'

The blend for the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II features a higher proportion of Longmorn and whiskies matured in first-fill sherry butts. It also includes Braeval malts and Strathclyde grain whiskies. The result is a whisky with richer creamy and spicy accents and an elegantly floral dimension
