A fresh breeze is sweeping across the Scottish Isle of
Arran, ushering in spring. This year, that’s true in more ways than one for both distilleries: alongside a birthday celebration, the island is also refreshing its whisky range. We’re saying goodbye to some familiar bottles and will soon be welcoming new ones, but what exactly?
With spring comes renewal at Isle of Arran Distillers. Arran Distillery has teased that something delicious is on the way, but first, space needs to be made for it.
Last chance for the current Arran whisky collection
Two well-known whiskies from Isle of Arran Distillers are about to bow out. The Arran 18 Year Old and Arran 25 Year Old are being retired from the distillery’s core range.
In a message to members of the White Stags (the fan club for Arran and Lagg whisky), Arran shared that the current bottles are still available, for now. That won’t last long, as we’re down to remaining stock. In their own words: when it’s gone, it’s gone.
These single malts have held a proud place in the collection for years, but the time has come to make room for something new. Exactly what that will be remains under wraps for the moment.
One thing is certain: the unmistakable Arran style remains just as fans know it. Independent, non-chill filtered, and carrying that signature Arran character. We’ll no doubt hear soon what the distillery has in store.
