New packaging for the whisky’s core range has been rolled out. The labels now feature richer colors and more luxurious details.
The new design is The Singleton’s boldest refresh to date. The bottles take on a richer, more contemporary look with flowing textures, expressive backdrops, and a deeper teal palette. Metallic inks and tactile finishes add a premium feel on the shelf.
A starring role for The Singleton’s salmon
The brand’s iconic salmon plays a standout role. The fish on the labels is now more prominent to boost brand recognition, while preserving the warm, approachable style The Singleton is known for.
The new presentation also puts a stronger spotlight on the Slow Batch Distillation process. The Singleton ferments and distills its spirit more slowly than many other single malts in Scotland. That time and care are now more clearly communicated to whisky lovers through the updated labels.
To better convey taste, the tasting notes on the packaging have been made more expressive as well. The labels now more clearly indicate the flavor profile of each expression, helping shoppers choose between different bottlings within the core range.
The refreshed design isn’t just about a more luxurious look: it’s more practical too. With distinct labels, stronger visual cues, and clear flavor information, The Singleton aims to help consumers discover new expressions.
Sustainability also shapes the new packaging
Beyond the visual update, The Singleton has also focused on packaging sustainability. The new labels and packaging deliver a lower CO2 footprint per case compared to the previous design.
James O’Connor, global head of The Singleton, notes that the packaging had to be as thoughtfully crafted as the whisky itself. The new style reflects the time, craftsmanship, and premium character of The Singleton’s Slow Batch Distillation process.

We have not spoken to the individuals in the video ourselves, nor can we verify who they are. We describe it as a Chinese whisky because it is released by a Chinese distillery. - Let's keep this factually correct. Pernod Ricard DID NOT release a Chinese whisky. Their first output from The Chuan (the name of the distillery in Sichuan, China) wasn't fit for bottling. What they actually bottled was imported Scotch whisky. This is why the product is called "PURE MALT" and not "Chinese Whisky" - because Pure Malt is not a regulated term - this is not a secret. This was exposed about a week after they released it. There were even videos about their own staff on site admitting it was made from imported whisky - which Pernod Ricard got the lawyers onto to get the video pulled.
