After 10 years of distilling,
Isle of Harris Distillery is unveiling a single malt as its signature whisky. Isle of Harris Whisky is a new single malt being launched straight into the spotlight. The whisky is set to take center stage within the growing range from the Tarbert distillery.
The new Isle of Harris Whisky is crafted entirely on the Isle of Harris, in
Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. Ron MacEachran, executive chairman of the distillery, calls the launch a major milestone. In his view, the new single malt shows just how far Isle of Harris Distillery has come in ten years. From the very beginning, the goal was to create spirits that share the island’s story with the world.
Naming also plays a strategic role. By putting the whiskies more prominently under the Isle of Harris banner, the distillery aims to build on the international recognition first established by Isle of Harris Gin.
