Hogsworth has introduced The 15, a cask strength range built around spirits with an average age of fifteen years and offered in three formats: H.W.’s Master Blend, the High Hog 3-Pack, and a Private Barrel Program available through select retailers.
Hogsworth is known for its unconventional production style, especially its trademark combination of Bourbon and Armagnac. The introduction of older, cask strength expressions represents a notable shift from its earlier lineup and aligns with growing interest in higher proof releases that offer concentrated flavor and flexibility through dilution.
The new Hogsworth range is a new beginning for the distillery according to a company statement.

What bottles are in The Hogworth 15 collection?

The collection consists of three core formats:
  • H.W.’s Master Blend – A blend of 1973 Armagnac with 2009 and 2013 components.
  • High Hog 3-Pack – Three styles: High Corn, High Rye, and High Islay.

How do the new Hogsworth whiskies taste?

H.W.’s The 15 Master Blend:
Among others stewed orange, marmalade, oak and wood shavings on the nose, and spices with sweetness and nutty flavors on the palate. The finish is slightly bitter.
High Hog 3-Pack:
High Corn: Fruit with caramelized pie and ripe apple and pear on the nose, followed by fresh tropical fruit on the palate.
High Rye: Rich and deep with cherries, liqueur and chocolate on the nose. On the palate rich and deep with spices, pepper and tannins, but not bitter.
High Islay: Rich and deep with orange and grapefruit, nuts, figs and dates on the nose. On the palate notes of peat, nuts and dried fruit.

A new beginning for the whiskey company

The H.W.’s Master Blend brings together Armagnac distilled in 1973 with additional components from 2009 and 2013. Distillery Manager Giles Garnham selected the parcels used in this release. The set is priced at 179 dollars and contains three bottles of 750 ml.
Expanding on the Master Blend concept, the High Hog 3-Pack presents three contrasting styles: a sweeter High Corn version, a spicier High Rye expression, and a smokier High Islay bottling. This trio is priced at 195 dollars for three 750 ml bottles.
The collection also includes a Private Barrel Program, offering six variations of The 15 as single-store exclusives. Participating retailers receive individually labeled bottlings that differ from the core profiles.
Both the Master Blend and the High Hog 3-Pack can be preordered on the brand’s website, with shipments scheduled to begin on December 8.
