Whisky without color?

Chivas unveils its latest innovation alongside Ferrari driver Charles LeClerc. Crystalgold is not a regular whisky, but a ‘whisky’ without color.
In order to achieve this, Chivas has distilled whisky and left it to mature, then passed it through a special filtration process. This stripped the drink of color, while fully preserving its flavor.
As the drink hasn't totally followed the whisky making process, it can't officially be labeled whisky, but it is undoubtedly unique.
Nick Blacknell, Marketing Director at Chivas Regal, believes Crystalgold perfectly aligns with the growing demand for lighter, versatile spirits.
‘75% of consumers are looking for drinks that are suitable from afternoon till evening. Crystalgold fills this unique spot in our portfolio.’
- Nick Blacknell
