Irish whiskey maker Jack Teeling has a plethora of whiskeys in her collection, including the delectable Teeling single malt whiskey. We took a good hard look at what Teeling has to offer us and have made a selection of the 5 whiskey bottles from the Irish distillery that are absolutely worth your while!

Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Of course we are kicking off this with what everyone already expects. After all, we were talking about Teeling Whiskey. That's the first bottle we can recommend to you. The golden-hued concoction from Jack Teeling titillates your nose with scents of apple, vanilla, honey, and grapes, while also revealing a hint of florals and spices. The flavor is one you're sure to remember: a delightful sweet blend of fruits such as berries and the oakiness from the barrel in which the whiskey has matured.

Teeling Brabazon Bottling series 3

The second single malt from Teeling we'd like to recommend is the Brabazon Bottling series 3. This is a special bottling of the 'Spirit of Dublin' and is limited in availability. The whiskey is amber colored and comes with a sizable maturation period under its belt. It was matured for 11 years in ex-bourbon barrels, before spending a further 3 years in a PX-sherry cask finish.

Teeling Wonders of Wood edition 2

The Teeling Wonders of Wood edition is, unlike the first two bottles, not a Teeling Single Malt. It's a pot still whiskey, with which Teeling pays homage to the forests from which the distillery's wood originates. In fact, Teeling plants a whole new section of forest for each release in the Wonders of Wood line. And besides, it's a unique whiskey. This single pot still is made up of a blend of 50 percent malted barley and 50 percent unmalted barley. The distillate then matures in Portuguese oak barrels, which yield a marmalade-like flavor.

Teeling Chardonnay Wine Cask

One of the Teeling whiskeys that we recommended is the Chardonnay Wine Cask. The whisky once again proves that Teeling is currently looking back at history with one eye, while looking forward to the future with the other. The bottle thus experiments with a unique flavor: that of chardonnay.
The bottle has had a cask finish from Chadonnay wine barrels from Weinhaus Franz Hahn in Germany. This gives the whiskey a delightful set of fruity notes, including pineapple and peach. You can almost taste the chardonnay through the whiskey, while a hint of nuttiness also peeps through.

Teeling 13 Years Old Single Grain

Bottle number five that we recommend is Teeling 13 Years Old Single Grain. This is a delightful whiskey from the fold of the Irish distillery. The amber-colored drink has been distilled three times and has matured for an impressive 9 years in ex-bourbon barrels. But it didn't stop there, because the whiskey then spent an additional 4 years maturing in ex-Bourdeaux barrels.
The result is a scent of rose water followed by a taste of fruit, vanilla, and honey. Quite sweet, until the finish comes. That happens to be spicy with a hint of toasted oak and other wood notes. A bottle you can certainly show off!
