For Tipperary’s new Homegrown release, as with previous editions, they used their own grown barley. The distillery grew the barley and then malted, mashed, and distilled it entirely in-house into a fruit-forward spirit.

The distilled new make spirit was then matured for 8 years, finishing its aging in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, and Vermouth casks. According to the distillery, this imparts a deep and complex character that remains approachable for those new to the world of whisky.
