Aside from the presence of peach, citrus, and walnut tasting notes, the entire tasting notes of this newest Scotch whisky are as follows:
- Nose: Dark chocolate, honey, walnut and soft citrus.
- Palate: Coffee, salted bananas, liquorice, brown sugar.
- Finish: Long, gently spiced and slightly herbal fruit compote, earthy chocolate, and coffee.
12 Year Old Oloroso is bottled at 46% ABV with natural color and non-chill filtration.
Andalusian Mosaic Tiles Design + Sobremesa
Before you even open the bottle, its design will already entice you. It features the distillery’s unique silhouette, together with hints of mosaic tiles from Andalusia, a nod to the Oloroso sherry finish. As for the colorway, it is deep burgundy, which clearly symbolizes Spain.
Jura drew inspiration from Sobremesa, a cultural tradition hailing from Spain wherein diners linger for a moment at the dinner table after eating to chat, digest, and enjoy the moment.
