The Ned in London has unveiled a striking showpiece this year: a luxurious Christmas tree designed entirely by The Macallan. For whisky lovers and fans of elegant holiday décor alike, it’s a collaboration you won’t want to miss. The tree stands in the heart of the former banking hall and is on display now.
This Christmas tree is far more than a decorative centerpiece. The Macallan drew inspiration from its own DNA: heritage, color, and origin. The copper baubles nod directly to the distillery’s iconic copper stills. The brand’s signature deep red accent runs like a common thread through the design.

Not just any Christmas tree

You’ll also find white ornaments bearing the distinctive Macallan “M,” along with red velvet bows that give the tree an elegant, timeless look. Clusters of berries, acorns, and subtle green touches bring a whisper of Scottish nature to the heart of London.
Sergio Cabello, head of The Macallan in the United Kingdom, is very pleased with the result.
'We’re excited to partner with The Ned to create a truly memorable festive season. This partnership is about bringing people together and creating joyful moments and festive experiences worth celebrating.'
- Sergio Cabello
The tree isn’t the only attraction, there’s plenty to savor as well. Whisky fans can enjoy exclusive Macallan tastings at the hotel. The Library Bar and the Lutyens Grill are serving special Macallan cocktails, and the Library Bar also features a dedicated menu.

How long is The Macallan Christmas tree on display?

If you’re planning a trip to London, perhaps to see the Harry Potter exhibition or to soak up the city’s festive decorations, make sure to stop by. The tree will be on view through 27 December.
