We kick off this list with a few places of honor: the cream of the crop: Masters and category winners. These are whiskies that didn’t just win Gold, but earned a Master, an official category title, or even Best of Class at international competitions.

Indri stood out in particular. Both Indri Trini and Indri Dru received a Master at The Asian Spirits Masters 2026, while Indri Agneya was named Indian Single Malt Whiskey of the Year at the
London Spirits Competition. The Diwali Collector’s Edition 2025 also claimed multiple major titles in 2026.
Godawan and Paul John also made a big impression. Godawan 01 Rich & Rounded was the only Indian single malt to earn a Master at The World Whisky Masters 2026. Paul John Port Select Cask was crowned Best Indian Single Malt at the
World Whiskies Awards, while Classic Select Cask even took Best of Class at the
International Spirits Competition.
