Bruichladdich Reveals Three New Provenance Scotch Whiskies

Bruichladdich Distillery is adding new members to its family. First, there are three Micro Provenance single casks for the Laddie Crew. Then, if you’re an avid whisky enthusiast, you’ll also love Delia’s Whiskyshop, the newest member of this crew.
Three Micro provenance single cask whiskies
The Scotch whisky distillery revealed three new exclusive releases for Bruichladdich Distillery’s Laddie Crew locations. They are Bruichladdich 12 Years Old 2013 Cask Nr.0889, Bruichladdich 10 Years Old 2014 Cask Nr.0060, and Bruichladdich 9 Years Old 2015 Cask Nr.7142. All three whiskies are the same in the bases, but the age and maturation is where they differ.
Respectively, the 9, 10 and 12 year old whiskies are matured in matured in 1st fill Sauternes cask at 60.5% ABV, in 1st fill Pineau de Charentes cask at 62.6% ABV, and in 1st fill Ribera Del Duero cask at 61.2% ABV.

Bruichladdich 12 Years Old
- Nose: Toasted oak, orange citrus and vanilla custard, followed by a wave of warm spice, butter toffee and freshly baked pastry
- Palate: Warm and soft, smooth caramel, marzipan and barley sugar, balanced with Bruichladdich’s signature floral character
- Finish: Where mellow toasted oak settles, with milk chocolate and a hint of fresh pineapple
Bruichladdich 10 Years Old
- Nose: Fresh citrus, green apple, vanilla, oak, subtle maritime minerality
- Palate: Sweet malt, caramel, orchard fruits, spice, gentle coastal salinity
- Finish: Medium length, warming spice, oak dryness, lingering citrus sweetness
Bruichladdich 9 Years Old
- Nose: Red berries, grape sweetness, vanilla, oak spice, light herbal notes
- Palate: Jammy fruits, malt sweetness, peppery spice, oak, wine influence
- Finish: Lingering fruit, drying tannins, gentle spice, warm oak fade

The Provenance whiskies Bruichladdich revealed are exclusively for the global Laddie Crew locations. Aside from those exclusive releases, the distillery has also welcomed the newest member of the Laddie Crew, the Delia’s Whiskyshop in Germany.

Unfortunately, the evidence you referred to consists only of two people talking about the whisky, without any explanation or identification. We have not spoken to the individuals in the video ourselves, nor can we verify who they are. We describe it as a Chinese whisky because it is released by a Chinese distillery. - Let's keep this factually correct. Pernod Ricard DID NOT release a Chinese whisky. Their first output from The Chuan (the name of the distillery in Sichuan, China) wasn't fit for bottling. What they actually bottled was imported Scotch whisky. This is why the product is called "PURE MALT" and not "Chinese Whisky" - because Pure Malt is not a regulated term - this is not a secret. This was exposed about a week after they released it. There were even videos about their own staff on site admitting it was made from imported whisky - which Pernod Ricard got the lawyers onto to get the video pulled.
