Bulleit Whiskey Sour Cocktail - What’s inside?

This ready-to-drink whiskey cocktail includes Bulleit Bourbon, lemon, honey flavor, and a touch of sweetness, sans the egg white. With its alcohol content limited to around 25%, it technically isn't classified as whiskey. After all, only spirits with an alcohol percentage of 40% and higher can bear the name whiskey.

What does the Bulleit Whiskey Sour Cocktail taste like?

We haven't had the chance to taste the pre-made cocktail ourselves, so we present the findings of others.
The nose opens with a burst of lemon zest, subtle honey, and a warm spice from oak. The palette offers pure citrus, soft sweetness and a mild bourbon taste.
The finish? Refreshing and semi-sweet.

So simple, a child could do your laundry

The cocktail was created for the sake of convenience. As stated on the website of The Bar the following:
'The Cocktail Collection makes enjoying bartender quality cocktails at home easier than ever with none of the hassle. Because why spend time making drinks when you can be making memories with friends and family.'
Moreover, it's not the only RTD that Bullet sells. Previously, an Old Fashioned and Manhattan version were also brought out.

How does this compare with a classic whiskey sour?

The real question, of course, is how Bulleit's RTD compares to a traditional homemade whiskey sour. The major difference is that bitters and egg white have been replaced with honey flavor notes. Thus, a foamy layer on the cocktail will be absent.
The question remains: is that a problem?
You win some, you lose some.
