While sauna is a luxury in the Netherlands, it is a way of life in Finland. Kyrö extends this tradition for the second time to its whisky with Kyrö Sauna Stories No. 2.

This is a whisky made 100 percent from rye. The spirit initially aged in American oak barrels in a traditional warehouse. Then, the Finnish touch was applied by transferring the whisky into apricot brandy barrels.

In these casks, the whisky visited the sauna for an extensive treatment. The barrels were heated with steam to 50 degrees, heavily influencing the maturing process. The result is a soft and rounded whisky with deep layers in its flavor profile.
