Suntory Toki gets smokey
Suntory Toki has a new edition after a ten-year interval. The brand new bottle of the blended Japanese whisky is crafted from a mix of whiskies from the Suntory distilleries, just like its predecessor.
For this new variant, Hakushu Peated Malt and Hakushu Grain whisky were used, along with the well-known Yamazaki and The Chita whisky. This hybrid has injected a smoky variant to the Toki whisky for the first time.

- Palate: Butterscotch, clove, cinnamon, roast rosemary
- Finish: White pepper, ginger and gentle smoke
The whisky is bottled at 43 percent alcohol by volume (ABV).
Japanese Whisky and Music
The launch of the new Toki whisky goes beyond the divine drink itself. In collaboration with Terrace Martin, Grammy-nominated producer, and Ryota Nozaki (Jazztronik), Japanese jazz pioneer, Suntory released a short film and vinyl.
This is inspired by Jazz Kissa culture and the Japanese principle Ichigo Ichie: the belief that each moment is unique and unrepeatable.
