Whisky Monkeys is taking Some Time off for the Holidays

It’s mid-December, which means the Holidays are coming. We’re taking a little time off to enjoy Christmas with our families and a nice dram or two. We’re putting the website on pause and already want to wish everyone wonderful holidays!

Wonderful moments to look back on

As it often goes at the end of the year, it’s a natural time to reflect. What has happened in just one year? For us, this year brought so many good things. Honestly, too many to list and it’s not about bragging. We met new people, wrote articles just about everything that has something to do with whisky and more.

Things we did this year:

Launched the English version of Whisky Monkeys alongside our existing Dutch platform
Experienced some stunning events (and we’re launching our own Dutch Whisky Week)

Visited the Grande Whisky Museum in Singapore and toured it, along with a local distillery producing the country’s first single malt
We visited The Macallan in Singapore.
And above all, we got to work the entire year with the most wonderful drink there is: whisky.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you. It’s been a joy to share our passion for whiskies and stories with you. Thanks for reading and following along.

We’re going away for a bit of rest and wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and, in advance, a happy New Year.

On January 5th we will be back, but in the meantime there might be an update or two. Old habits die hard, but for the most part we’ll be taking it easy.
