This page will feature reports from events both at home and abroad. The whisky world is vast, distilleries exist all over the globe. Anyone who thinks whisky only comes from Ireland, Scotland, or America is mistaken. The real question is: in which country is whisky not made?

Of course, there are the big names, but that doesn’t mean upcoming distilleries or smaller brands aren’t worth your attention. Whisky festivals bring together countless whisky producers from around the world, offering the chance to taste an incredible variety of expressions. We’ll be sharing reports from these events regularly on this page.

Unlike music festivals, which mainly take place in the summer, whisky festivals are held all year round. Summer sees fewer events, while spring, autumn, and winter are packed with exciting opportunities. Expect cosy, atmospheric whisky festivals that we’ll happily report on.

This page will also feature other events such as whisky tastings and press tours. There’s plenty to experience in the world of whisky, both at home and abroad. Think of popping into a whisky bar in a nearby city or visiting a distillery. You don’t necessarily have to travel all the way to Ireland or Scotland. Some excellent options are much closer to home.
