Sometimes whiskies appear only in select places. That’s the case now with Dewar’s Double Double whisky celebrating Lunar New Year 2026. Its release also coincides with the brand’s 180th anniversary.
Dewar’s has launched a new limited edition in honor of Lunar New Year 2026, complete with an exclusive design created for the occasion.
The iconic Scotch whisky maker pairs this festive release with a remarkable milestone: the brand’s 180th anniversary. To mark both the occasion and Chinese New Year, Dewar’s is introducing an exclusive edition of its blended Scotch whiskies: the Dewar’s Double Double Fire Horse Edition.

What is the Dewar’s Double Double Fire Horse Edition?

The Lunar New Year 2026 releases from Dewar’s aren’t new whiskies; it’s the presentation that’s changed. Inside the bottles is the acclaimed Dewar’s whisky you know. There are three expressions: Dewar’s Double Double 20 Year Old, 26 Year Old, and 30 Year Old.
These whiskies arrive in a luxurious limited-edition package created for Chinese New Year. The red box features fireworks in gold and crimson tones, along with white-gold horses whose flowing manes and tails transform into flames.
The design symbolizes prosperity, good fortune, and strength, reflected in the color palette of the packaging.

Exclusive to travel retail

These special bottles are available exclusively at airports worldwide. Twenty-five key airports are participating with the bottles featured in Duty Free shops. Shops that are carrying the special Lunar New Year bottles include London Heathrow, Frankfurt Heinemann, and Sydney Airport.
With this exclusive release, Dewar’s reinforces its position as a leading blended Scotch whisky brand, offering a unique blend of heritage, design, and collectability for Lunar New Year 2026.
The price per bottle has not been announced. This could vary per destination so make sure to double check.
