Teeling Celebrates 11 Years of Dublin Distilling with an Exclusive Birthday Batch Release

Teeling Whiskey Distillery turns eleven this year, and as always, that calls for a special release. To mark the occasion, the Irish distillery is unveiling a new, ultra-limited Birthday Batch. The release is a blend of various single pot still and single malt whiskeys from the distillery and it packs a serious punch when it comes to ABV.

For this anniversary edition, Teeling selected whiskeys from the oldest stocks at the Dublin distillery. These matured in ex-sherry casks, delivering a full, rich flavor that lingers beautifully with every sip.

With this release, the distillery is also giving back. Proceeds from every bottle of Birthday Batch 11 sold will be donated to local charities in Dublin. This isn’t a first—they do the same every year with their special bottlings.

Flavor profile of the Teeling Birthday Batch

Teeling has provided detailed tasting notes for the Birthday Batch 11 release, promising a full and layered experience in the glass. On the nose, expect warm pot still spices alongside toasted malt, freshly baked barley bread, dried fruits, honey, and vanilla. Subtle spice and hints of caramelized sugar add extra depth.

On the palate, this Irish whiskey opens lively with cracked pepper and citrus zest, followed by ripe orchard fruits, honeyed malt, and milk chocolate. The finish is long and silky, with gentle oak spice, butterscotch, roasted nuts, and dried fruit.

Teeling bottled the whiskey at 51.1% alcohol by volume (ABV).
