The Glenturret Distillery has unveiled its annual core range for 2025. In total, there are eight whiskies, including two extremely rare bottles and a farewell to a beloved whisky style.

Eight brand new Glenturret single malts

Every year, The Glenturret introduces a new core range of its whiskies. This year's Annual Release consists of eight single malt whiskies, varying in age.

Ian Renwick, distillery director, says that each year they look at the core range and which editions appear in it.

'Each year it is a new challenge to create our annual release of whiskies. While this year the core age statements remain the same, each expression is a reflection of the laid down stock we have to work with shaped by the subtle differences in cask influence, maturation and strength.'

Saying Goodbye to The Glenturret Peat Smoked Whisky

The distillery has again looked at its current stocks this year. As a result, with this range also comes the announcement that the old, peated whisky style is depleting.

The Scottish whisky maker announced in 2024 the end of peated whiskies. If you're a fan of this style, it is essential to stock up this year, as the peated whiskies are featured for the last time in 2025.

A special edition of the peat-smoked whisky, The Glenturret 14 Years Old Peat Smoked Oloroso & PX Sherry, has been released to bid a fitting goodbye. It's only available for purchase through the distillery shop.

Two rare whiskies in the core range

The showpiece of The Glenturret 2025 core range is the 30 Years Old. This whisky is extremely limited to just 50 bottles worldwide.

The whisky has matured in European oak casks, giving the drink notes of rich fruit, wood, spices, citrus, and vanilla. The price per bottle is 2484.95 Euros.

The Glenturret 25 Year Old is somewhat more available with a release of 210 bottles. This single malt whisky has matured in three different types of sherry casks made from European oak.

This has given the whisky notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and oak. The price tag for the 25-year-old whisky is 1656.95 Euros.
