The Scottish farm distillery Arbikie has unveiled major news. The distillery has officially opened pre-orders for its first The Arbikie Single Malt whiskies. And it’s not just one: three brand-new single malts are available to order right away.

Recently, Arbikie Highland Estate Distillery hosted exclusive tastings in Davos, Switzerland. Guests were invited to sample the distillery’s first whiskies ahead of their official launch.

From field to bottle: Single Malt whisky from a single estate

With those tastings complete, it’s time for the next step. The distillery’s first single malts are now officially a reality and can be ordered starting today. But what kind of whisky are we talking about? We dive into it in this article.

The Arbikie Single Malt is produced entirely on the Arbikie family estate. That means the barley is grown, processed, and distilled into spirit on-site. The spirit is then matured and bottled on the very same estate.

After maturation, it’s time to bottle the whisky, done at Arbikie as well. Three single malts have now been bottled, and all three are available to pre-order. You’ll find them below.

What is The Arbikie The Signature whisky?

We start with the distillery’s signature bottling. The Signature captures the core character of the distillery. It has matured for 10 years in bourbon casks before bottling.

While no official tasting notes have been shared, Arbikie notes that this single malt carries the essence of its surroundings.

This whisky is set for release in the summer of 2026 and can be pre-ordered now via the distillery’s website.

What is The Arbikie The Wild One whisky?

The Wild One is a limited-edition single malt from the distillery. Just 100 bottles have been filled, each presented in an exclusive bottle. This experimental whisky uses wild fermentation and has been matured in a single cask.

John Stirling, co-owner of the distillery, notes that for this release, the team relied entirely on the land and the process.

The price per bottle is 30,000 pounds. Anyone interested in securing a bottle can register their interest on the Scottish whisky maker’s website.

What is The Arbikie The Journey single malt whisky?

Rounding out the trio, Arbikie is launching a series called The Journey. The distillery is releasing 500 sets that take you on a whisky journey, bottle by bottle, through an increasingly mature single malt.

In total, nine bottles will be released in the series. It begins with a 10-year-old whisky and culminates in an 18-year-old expression. Each edition receives a different finish, including bourbon, port, rum, Burgundy, cognac, calvados, sauternes, and the renowned Japanese mizunara oak.

The price for the series is 3,000. This can also be pre-ordered now via the distillery’s website.

Will The Arbikie single malts hit the shelves?

For these Arbikie whisky releases, the plan is not to send them to retail. This is intentionally a small-scale launch with more exclusive bottlings. It has not been announced whether Arbikie will later distribute its whiskies to liquor stores and specialty retailers.
