Whiskey, the brand behind beverages such as Writer’s Tears, is celebrating a minor milestone with its other brand. The Irishman is marking its 15th annual release in the Vintage Cask series of
Irish whiskey. The series exists alongside a number of other series and a new edition emerges each year. Thus, this year marks a sort of anniversary for The Irishman Vintage Cask, arriving almost two years after the brand was acquired by the Amber Beverage Group. The Luxembourger group took over the company in November 2021, making it one of the over 100 brands under the Amber Beverage Group banner.
Bernard Walsh, CEO of Walsh Whiskey is overjoyed with the 2023 The Irishman Vintage Cask. He describes it as 'a labor of love that recreates one of the greatest 19th-century traditions of Irish whiskey that The Irishman first released in 2008'. This edition is the 15th annual issue since 2008 of The Irishman.
