The new edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label once again features true artwork on the bottle. This time, Johnnie Walker teamed up with fashion designer Robert Wun, known for dressing celebrities such as Lady Gaga.

Wun’s design showcases a galloping horse intertwined with couture elements. The horse nods to the coming Chinese astrological year, while the couture details depict a woman in a complex gown.
That woman embodies the elegance of this Scottish blended whisky and the many layers waiting to be discovered in the blend.
How does the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Horse edition taste?
While the bottle is entirely designer-crafted, the whisky inside is the classic Blue Label you know: a blend of rare Scotch whiskies, including liquid from closed distilleries.
The tasting notes are as follows:
- Nose: Gentle wisps of smoke with hints of honey and vanilla.
- Palate: Caramel, hazelnut, and dark chocolate, woven with sweeter notes like honey and vanilla.
- Finish: Long and elegant with subtle smoke and a spicy undercurrent.
The whisky is bottled at 40 percent alcohol by volume (ABV).
Where can you buy Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Horse?
This special release will be available at select premium retailers. The whisky will reach markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, China, Canada, and Australia.

We have not spoken to the individuals in the video ourselves, nor can we verify who they are. We describe it as a Chinese whisky because it is released by a Chinese distillery. - Let's keep this factually correct. Pernod Ricard DID NOT release a Chinese whisky. Their first output from The Chuan (the name of the distillery in Sichuan, China) wasn't fit for bottling. What they actually bottled was imported Scotch whisky. This is why the product is called "PURE MALT" and not "Chinese Whisky" - because Pure Malt is not a regulated term - this is not a secret. This was exposed about a week after they released it. There were even videos about their own staff on site admitting it was made from imported whisky - which Pernod Ricard got the lawyers onto to get the video pulled.
