Teeling Brings Back the Christmas Batch, Here's Where to Get It

Flying into Dublin or Cork soon? Love Teeling whiskeys? Make sure to have a look: the Teeling Christmas Batch is back and on shelves at the airports. Who wouldn’t want to head home with a special Christmas bottling?

The Christmas Batch was first launched last year in partnership with travel retail specialist Aer Rianta International (ARI). It proved to be a smash hit. According to Teeling, demand was so strong that bottles sold out in record time. A new festive release was inevitable.

For the 2025 edition, Teeling has not only put together a fresh batch, but also revamped the presentation. The whiskey comes in an updated gift pack, including an additional secondary gift carton. With this, Teeling clearly leans into the collectability of this limited release.

The Teeling Christmas Batch is a triple-distilled blend of both malt and grain whiskey. What sets this bottling apart is its fermentation: the whiskey underwent a dual fermentation using both white wine yeast and traditional distillers’ yeast.

After distillation, the blend was finished in a combination of Port, red wine, and Sherry casks. According to Teeling, the result is a distinctly festive character.

Expect aromas and flavors of brown sugar, Christmas pudding, allspice, sweet toffee, dried fruits, and gentle tannins. It’s no wonder the distillery describes the whiskey as 'Christmas in a bottle.'

The whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and fully in line with the rest of the Teeling range.

The Teeling Whiskey Christmas Batch is available exclusively at the duty-free shops at Dublin and Cork airports for 42 euros. You can also order it online via the duty-free webshops of both airports.
