Het jaar is nog niet om, maar we weten nu al wat de absolute Schotse toppers van 2026 zijn. Althans, volgens de Whisky competitie World Whiskies Awards. De awardshow is geweest en de beste Schotse single malts, blended whisky's en meer zijn onthuld. Dit is de hele lijst.

De afgelopen maanden hebben distilleerderijen en whiskymakers uit heel Schotland hun whisky ingestuurd naar een panel van juryleden en whisky experts. Het panel had zoals elk jaar de opdracht om de whisky's te keuren op geur, kleur, smaak en consistentie.
